Cool photos! Everything looks so peaceful in the woods.
Regarding your question about the rice...use Carnaroli or other type of rice to make risotto. Too bad cannot work with local kine rice, but then you know us locals....they like sticky white grains, not that creamy stuff that look like mush! Ha! ;-)
Katalina I'm still waiting to hear something about german food. Come on, indulge me! All I know is beer, kraut, and...more beer. ;-)
HA! LOL! Ok..ok..I gotta get with it, I know...I have eaten at many restaurants since I've been here, and all have been really tasty. In fact, I have yet to experience a "bad" German restaurant. You would think as much as I love books and journals, that I would start taking note of the restaurants...but...well...I guess I've been "lax" there. SO, My Friend!!! I promise...I will get with the program and "reconoiter" some of the restaurants around here! Heh..heh... ;)
