The Heart Travels ~ Mon Cœur de Voyagé

Where does your heart yearn to journey?  This is a question that surfaces quite often for many.  Lucky for you and lucky for me we live in the age of social media and websites devoted to a myriad of locations in this beautiful world!  We can travel to any destination, learn about the people of the area(s), see the flora and fauna, and learn and see a myriad of so many other things peculiar to that virtual area...all within the span of minutes.  We travel there within a matter of minutes!


For those who have been fortunate to have actually made the yearning a reality, you have pictures to relive those special moments.  Through these photographs one can relive those special moments in time.  Relive the moment you only dreamed about or read about.  The pictures in this writing are two such pictures.



Sacré-Cœur Basilica.


I visited this beautiful basilica on my first trip to Paris.  Such marvelous beauty to behold!  Until the moment in which I snapped the first photograph, I had only visualized this beautiful structure based on words and pictures found in a book!  You see, social media was just beginning to have a foothold back then.  The information I garnered was indeed through various books.  Now, however, one need only go online and search!  You can search for image(s) and/or text. You can access the information AND graphics.  In short me instances, you Ca even view video clips about the area!



The second photograph (below) was taken years later. (trip six or seven-I cannae recall!)  This photograph was inspired by a photo I had seen in one of the many research books I read.  I can tell you the same exuberance is with me today when I view these pictures!
